It’s been three years since Respawn Entertainment’s Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was released on consoles and PC, and it seems not every secret in the game has been found…at least until today.

Thanks to the prodding of a Respawn dev, one dedicated gamer managed to finally find it, and it’s definitely a sight to see.

RELATED Report: BioWare Closure Due to EA Choosing Star Wars Battlefront 3 Over Next Mass Effect Last week, the gaming world was rocked when Electronic Arts announced the closure of once-RPG powerhouse BioWare.

Curious? Yeah, I thought so; read on so you can see what it is and how to do it yourself.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Easter Egg Finally Hatched, and It’s About Oggdo

Over on X (formerly Twitter), Respawn UI/UX Director Jordan DeVries hinted that there is still one Easter egg in Survivor that hasn’t been found, and gave an overview on how players can find it:

– it’s in one of the menus
– it was approved officially
– you have to do something to see it
– it’s not available right away
– you will absolutely know when you trigger it

That didn’t take long, as four hours after DeVries posted that, Jedi: Survivor superfan Towabunga (who has well over 100 hours sunk into the game) has finally unearthed it! Check it out below where the player uncovers it (posted with permission):

Yeah, there’s no way you’ll see that giant Oggdo appear and not notice something was up/

How to trigger it? Towerbunga says you have to have just killed Spawn of Oggdo, located at Fort Kah’lin on the planet Koboh, and enter the Konami code on the skill tree menu.

For those too young to know what the Konami code is, it’s a series of button presses on the directional pad: up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, Start.

RELATED Lucasfilm Is "Exploring" Star Wars Games That Will "Surprise" Fans While we've had Souls-like Star Wars games in Respawn's Jedi series, a strategy one courtesy of Bit Reactor in Star Wars: Zero Company, and even a new entry in the arcade racer genre in Star Wars: Galactic Racer, it seems we might be getting something fresh at some point in the future.

This code was first used in Konami’s Contra action-platformer, side-scrolling shooter, and it granted the player 30 lives to start the game. Since then, it’s been used by countless games to unlock Easter eggs, secrets and even referenced in pop culture.

DeVries acknowledged the spot by congratulating Towerbunga on X.

Now I’m curious to know if there are more secrets that have yet to be foundin Jedi: Survivor.

When it comes to the third chapter in the series, there’s no release date yet, but EA has confirmed it is in development and is the final chapter in the franchise. Not only that, but reputable journalist and insider Jason Schrerier has mentioned that the third game will officially be announced “soon.”

In other Star Wars gaming news, EA has confirmed that Respawn and DICE are collaborating on a project, and it’s said to be Star Wars Battlefront 3.
