OSSC Pro Legacy AV-In (+RF) 3D Printed Case

Dan from Ringer Keys / The Brewing Academy is now selling a 3D printed case that’s been modified for the latest version of the OSSC Pro’s Legacy AV-In. This is based off of Chrissy’s original case, but includes the RF hole and an extra support post between the composite and S-Video inputs to accommodate the updated modules. Installation is about as easy as it gets: Drop in the Legacy AV-In by angling the RF & Composite video jacks through the holes. Then snap the top on. You can use it like this, but I strongly recommend adding two screws as shown below to keep it from shifting. Anything from 6-10mm in length should work that’s about the same thickness. I grabbed two screws out of a pile I had lying around and they happened to be the perfect size – Hopefully you’ll get as lucky!

Also, this case provides holes for the mounting screws, so after connecting it to the OSSC Pro, you can still fit your screwdriver in to secure it to the scaler. Even if you’re like me and always switching between modules, it’s probably a good idea to screw this down, as the RF cable weight can leverage the board and it’d be pretty easy to pull it out without securing it.
