A sizable number of games are exiting stage right from PlayStation Plus Extra, including two of Rockstar Games’ biggest releases to date.
Games like Red Dead Redemption 2, Grand Theft Auto V, Yet Another Zombie Defense HD, Hotshot Racing, and more are all cycling out by November 17. It’s also important to note that while the free games you get as part of the monthly deal for the PlayStation Plus Essential tier provides you a copy for keeps of the game on your account once redeemed, this isn’t the case for the library of games part of the Extra tier.
- Red Dead Redemption 2 (PS4)
- Football Manager 26 (PS5)
- Grand Theft Auto V (PS5, PS4)
- The Talos Principle 2 (PS5)
- Cricket 24 (PS5, PS4)
- Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom (PS5, PS4)
- Hotshot Racing (PS4)
- Rock of Ages 3: Make & Break (PS4)
- Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair (PS4)
- Rapala Fishing Pro Series (PS4)
- Yet Another Zombie Defense HD (PS4)
I will say, it’s not surprising that Rockstar is pulling its current frontrunner next month with Grand Theft Auto VI on the horizon. Additionally, Rockstar does that a lot on the services, with this being the fourth instance of GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 being pulled from not just PlayStation Plus, but also Game Pass, so I think it’s fair to say it’ll end up on the service again later down the line.
